Nothing to Report

There was another baby stealer this morning. I'm trying to be Christian about it.

Last night we had CCD. We were supposed to have a talk by the pastor in the Church for a half an hour but he ended up talking the entire class period so I didn't have to do anything. That was nice. Obviously nothing exciting happened the rest of the evening.

This morning Demand and I headed to Bible Study as planned. I of course had none of the work done. But I was there so it counts. Plus I wasn't sitting at home wondering where my baby was, and it was nice to surround myself with people (mothers with young children) who knew what to say and what not to say. It was refreshing.

According to Mr. Sloth's schedule today is the day we're having the baby. However his schedule has my contractions starting at 10:30am and that did not happen, which is actually fine by me because I had no desire to be in the middle of contractions and have to drag Demand out of class and drive home. Plus the car was about out of gas and I wasn't about to stop and fill up the car.

When I picked Demand up from class she was super excited about the Valentine's Candy she had received. Lunch was obviously a negotiation with candy on the table. Then it was a quick playtime before putting Demand down for her nap. Naptime didn't happen for me though since I had a doctors appointment to get to. Again nothing too exciting to report, although my doctor and I both agree that Saturday would be a bad day to deliver. When the doctors assistant asked me how I was feeling I told her "Fine. Although I was hoping to be writhing in pain by now." She thought it was funny, and understood what I meant.

I'm letting Demand watch one more show before we head to SuperTarget. I have a dual agenda there. First we need dinner, I've ceased to keep food in the house and we've been eating out quite a bit already. Secondly, I get contractions just thinking about Target so I figure it can't hurt...well actually I hope it hurts. I know what's going to happen on this trip though. I won't just pick up dinner and a few contractions, I'll stock up on candy and junk food too because that's what happens when I go to Target "for fun". It's very similar to what happened at the mall yesterday. I didn't' just walk, I bought coffee for me "coffee" for Demand (chocolate milk), and patries. And then I semi-plurged at the Disney store. I say semi-splurged because I bought her two gifts, but they were both needed and on sale. First she needed some spring/summer jammies so she got the most adorable princess nightgown and then I bought her rubber boots, also for the spring. Plus some random older gentleman gave her a balloon. She made out like a bandit yesterday!!

Anyway, I'm trying to make plans for the evening so as not to be a complete chore for those around me. I'd like to vacuum and mop the floor, and maybe the family can head to the gym so I can do some walking. But I'll most likely spend the rest of evening watching TV and eating whatever junk food I've picked up at Target.

Mmmm, what junk food should I get? I stole sweet-tarts from Demands Valentine stash, maybe I should get some of those and some fixins for nachos. Who needs dinner???
