Tomorrow?

Nothing of interest happened today I just figured that someone would stop by here wondering what was going on.

I woke up at 7:30am realized that I didn't have a baby. You know it's the end of pregnancy when you're disappointed to get a full nights rest. I rolled over to inform Mr. Sloth that I didn't have a baby and he seemed to know already. It soon became the moment of the day when I accepted I would most likely be pregnant another day.

(Sigh) Bring on the coffee.

I made a potentially fatal mistake last night by not making plans for today but it worked out. A part of me assumed we could have a playdate, which we did but I shouldn't assume. First thing this morning Demand informed me that her butt hurt and we both agreed a bath would be a good idea. While Demand bathed I picked up the upstairs then she ran around crazily in just a diaper while I vacuumed. I was only able to give her bagel in passing so breakfast dinner really happen today. I got her dressed just before her friends came.

After the playdate Demand was beyond hungry (gee, I wonder why) so she ate a decent lunch. Demand and I played games online for a bit before finally getting ready for a nap. She didn't sleep, but I was able to fall asleep at least a little bit. Unbeknown to me, Mr. Sloth came home just as I was putting her down for the nap. So not only did I tell her to get back in bed a few times (and change a poopy diaper) but he told her to get back in bed a few times too.

Because she didn't sleep, our house rule is no TV. So there went my options for the afternoon. I had a few other activities planned but with Demand already overtired and me waking up from my nap at just the wrong time, we weren't in the mood to have fun. Demand played upstairs a bit while I showered (finally) and then we re-cleaned the upstairs before heading down to make dinner.

Dinner was eggs and potatoes and then we were off to the mall for some walking. Demand was WAY overtired before we even left the house.

So I made it through the day. I'm making plans for tomorrow though, just in case. Even though it's my morning off I think I'll just have all of us head to the mall for some walking. I also have the ingredients for pink rice krispie treats I thought Demand would have fun making in the afternoon. I'm trying to convince Mr. Sloth to pick up steaks for dinner, but he's afraid of me going into labor and not being able to make the steaks. Well, duh!

See you in 24 hours!

Lazywife, all my kids were 1 1/2 to 2 weeks late. and I'm not reading these posts with any sense of nostalgia.

As Clinton said, but I really mean it, I feel your pain. Hope baby decides its time to come out and play.
