Yikes! It's almost been a month since I've posted. Life has obviously been a bit crazy, but I have time to type out a quick story.
Yesterday the kids and I had a chiropractor appointment in the morning. Afterwards I stopped by the bank and then on our way home, since we were ahead of schedule I thought we should stop at adoration for a few minutes. I went to turn my phone off only to realize I didn't have it. Having made a quick call at the chiropractors, I had it before. I instantly knew what had happened.
Roof of the car.
Yep. Bonehead I know, but just the same. So my dilemma was do I stay at adoration and hope God repaid me by returning the phone or do I head back immediately to try and find it.
The answer??
After 20 minutes of distracted adoration filled with diaper changes and "No, don't do that!" and "Please God, find my phone!", and "God, I know I'm not really *here* but please count this as a visit". I headed back to retrace our steps. No phone, but I wasn't stressed. When I got home, Mr. Sloth greeted me at the door to tell me my phone had been found.
Turns out it I drove a few blocks before it finally flew off the car. (The boy was screaming so I wouldn't have heard it).
Moral of the story; Make time for God and he will repay you. Then again, I already knew that.
