Thanks for being patient.
The boy is doing better. He's still draining his abscess and has three tiny pustules on the other side but apparently it's nothing to be concerned about yet. If it keeps up for a few more weeks it might mean he has underlying cysts and will have to have them removed surgically. Which of course we do not want. He seems much happier but when it flares up it obviously bothers him.
He's seven weeks old now and has discovered his hands. He acted like such a big shot when he figured them out. So cute. While he's learning about his body I am also learning. Twice last week I learned that poop can be projectile and the second time I learned the hard way. I have the unfortunate duty of having to squeeze his abscess to help with the draining and it's location, well aids in the farting/pooping department. Glad I could help buddy.
One more quick bit before I call it a night. A funny quote from Demand came during our morning time. Demand was on the floor playing with the boy. All of a sudden she said, "Thank you Momma. Thank you for my brother."
I hope you all had a joyous Easter Sunday!

Awwww...not to the poor hurt boy and projectile poop, but to thanking the mom for a baby brother. That's the attitude, Demand!
We hope the youngest's bum clears up quickly.
