7th Inning Stretch

Mr. Sloth and I had fun at the game last night, but man that was a long game. 2 hours and 55 minutes. I've never enjoyed walking upstairs so much in my life, it felt good on my cramped legs.

Obscure came over to watch Demand and then Mr. Sloth and I headed out on our date. In a rare moment we showed up early and had plenty of time to grab food and such. It was $1 hot dog day so wide eyed Mr. Sloth watched me order 4 hot dogs, nachos and a jumbo coke. The nachos were fantastic as was the coke but the $1 hot dogs were lacking in deliciousness. I'm sure Mr. Sloth was proud of me for staying put for so long but then again dangerous fly balls were zooming into the stands and I wasn't about to get drilled.

Speaking of which the highlight of the night was when I foul ball came zooming into the stands while I guy was just heading down the stairs to his seat. The ball hit him in the right shoulder and he was carrying his $18 beer in his left hand. The beer made it but not without a little spill. The crowd cheered for the guy.

We loved our seats behind homeplate, but did not love the creepy old guys behind us. Eww. We will not discuss the things we heard. Let's just say that we were not in the family section.

We got home around midnight and were woken at 3am to a baby with a fever, which led to a long night, I mean morning. Demand and I fell asleep on the couch and woke up around 6am and then moved to our bed. We all woke up at 9am. So much for getting in early Mr. Sloth. We still don't know what Demand's mystery disease is but it might just be another tooth coming in. She seems just fine and dandy today.

Adventures never end I guess. I'll try and get the lame pictures from the game up in a little bit. I have a lot of housework I need to catch up on right now.
